Farewell Dolls.. For now.

So dolls, another year is nearly over and of course, it's also the end of the 'the noughties' (which, by the way, what will they call the next decade ?)

It's been a big year for me. Starting uni, watching Pacman turn one, moving to Brisbane, recently adding my fur baby Coco into our family and of course, watching my other baby grow - this blog !
As much as I adore blogging, it's time for me to take a much needed rest, so I'm leaving you all for a few weeks (I'll be back on the 10th of January).

I'm very excited about taking a break, not just from blogging, but from everyday life in general.

But don't worry Dolls, I won't be taking any inspiration from Heidi Montag (or is that Heidi Pratt now?) and getting ten cosmetic procedures in one day*. Nor will I be staging a marriage and divorce followed by renewing my vowels with the very same man.**

At the Burlesque Premiere in Tokyo last week, Kristin Bell showed that good things really do come in small packages.

The petite sized actress (who started off as in the series Veronica Mars - a favourite of mine) rocked this red Azzaro dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

Happy First Birthday Mason !

The son of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick turns one today.

The smallest member of the Kardashian (and Disick) family, recieved special birthday messages from Kourtney and his two aunties via their blogs.

Kourtney wrote " Happy very first birthday to my little angel Mason! You complete and fulfill my life. This year with you has been more than I could have ever imagined."

Khloe wrote "Happy happy happy HAPPY birthday to my beautiful baby nephew, MASON!!!!!!!! From the moment Mason was born, we were all madly in love with him. It didn't matter that he couldn't talk, walk, or do pretty much anything LOL, his existence in itself enriched all of our lives in a way we never knew possible." and much more (well, she does seem to be the chatterbox of the family), if you want to read the rest, head over to her blog.

And (the rumoured to be pregnant herself) Kim, wrote "Happy birthday Mason, my favorite little man! I hope you’re ready for another year of smooches. Words can’t express how much little Mase has changed my life. He is such a blessing to our family and watching him grow into a gorgeous little man is so amazing."

No doubt, he will be spoiled with both presents and love on his special day, and he definitely deserves it - he is an absolute cutie pie.

When it comes to fashion, I'd say that I'm pretty open to different looks, styles and very happy to see people (and celebs) take on their own style rather than just wearing whatever is in trend.

But, come on, Kate Bosworth - what were you (or your stylist) thinking !

The actress wore this outfit to the Hollywood Style Awards last night. I don't know if it's the colour of the skirt or what, but I just don't 'get' this outfit.

The tiny daughter of Christina Milian, Violet Madison looked as cute as a button at ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas Winter Wonderland Event.

Wearing the her own little Santa hat, a tiny red dress and the most gorgeous red flats, she is one stylish nine month year old.

Introducing,. Mr and Mrs Madden !

And they are finally married !
As suspected, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden tied the knot in a private ceremony on Saturday at Lionel Richie's home in LA

As mentioned here, Nicole wore a 'hand beaded' Marchesa gown but for the blushing bridge, one dress wasn't enough so she then changed into a Vera Wang dress.

The couples cute tots featured in the ceremony of course, Harlow (almost three) being the flower girl and Sparrow (fifteen months) being the ring bearer.

Unfortunately, Kim Kardashian didn't make it, but other guests included Kris and Bruce Jenner, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, Ashlee Simpson, Samantha Ronson (who was also Nicoles maid of honor) and of course Joels brother, Benji who was the bestman.

Sorry to disappoint Dolls, but no photos to be seen as yet. According to Perez Hilton "Sources say that her reps have been frantically trying to negotiate a $100,000 deal, which would land a cover story for Nicole's wedding." 
But this isn't another case of celebs trying to get every dollar they can, the new Mrs Madden plans to give it all to charity. If she gets the $100 000 deal, lets hope she follows through !
